This artwork explicitly references and mimics Letraset rub-on transfer sheets—an analogue typographic tool that became obsolete with the advent of software—by incorporating a list of the Photoshop v1 toolbar (1990). The precision of Helvetica's kerning reflects Modernist professionalism, while the pixelated Photoshop icons represent the automation and digital aesthetics ignited by the software.
The piece integrates vector typography, bitmap scans, and pixel-based icons, echoing a remixed Postmodern visual language. There is also an evident Postmodern irony inspired by the distinctive Experimental Jetset self-referentialism.
