If you look carefully there is a blue octopus form painted on the back and it came alive because of a movie on netflix that really impressed Luis called "My Octopus teacher". It's really an outstanding life story, because Luis agree it's a gift to be able to connect to animals and nature like Craig does.
It's the 27th painting of the Synapses series, Luís describes them as "Synapses between heaven and earth" and they can last for months or just a few days. They start by mentally projecting color contrasts and dimensions, until the first contact on the canvas with acrylic, that's the most calm and rational part, it's the preparation for "heaven" for the dripping sessions, for abstract expressionism, everything culminating in emotive, intense, vibrant, unique and passionate paintings that will bring good energies to any room.
