Ludmila Gorbunova is a contemporary Artist from St-Petersburg, Russia. She creates in rather impressionism style which in some cases verges on expressionism and abstract art. Her favorite artistic medium is the oil painting as there is no other fine art technique capable to offer so wide potential for self-expression.Ludmila's artworks are driven by the desire to display atmosphere and emotions of a moment and a place. Through artistic images she conveys feelings that are often inexpressible by plain words. Her creativity is inspired by personal experiences, feelings from within, memories and impressions from the ever-changing environment around us - in charming cityscapes of native city, in magical beauty of natural landscapes, in delicate flavor of flowers in bloom, in restless run of waves, in intricate tricks of light, in unlimited flights of imagination. Each piece of art she creates has its own stance and presence, with its own individuality and recognition.
That's it - my personal exhibition "Metamorphosis" has already become a history. I feel a little blue but at the same time thrilled - these 3 weeks was really intensive filled with vivid emotions and exciting encounters. It was a great opportunity to meet many old friends and make new ones, conduct 4 workshops for grateful 40 art lovers and enjoy the captivating artistic atmosphere around. This is just the beginning, new big things are coming up. Stay tuned!

Happy to announce my new Solo Exhibition titled "Metamorphoses" to be held on October 7-31 in St-Petersburg, Russia.
The exhibition delves into the theme of seeking inner harmony in the context of our rapidly changing world. At its heart lies the sea, eternal and mighty, unpredictable in its nature. The elemental force of the sea serves as the most vivid embodiment of metamorphosis, representing the grandeur of change and the continuous movement within and around our world.
I invite viewers to experience the enchantment bestowed upon us by nature when it undergoes transformations. For this exhibition, I have prepared over a dozen entirely new works, each distinct in style, subject, and size. Each painting is a piece of the larger puzzle of the external world, one that changes much like we do.
