Tanulmány a búzamezőn/Study of a wheat field is a famous painting by a Hungarian artist Ferencz Szombatonly. Made with gold and special paste on a canvas make a magical effect of golden wheat. His works are often made with gold and are very important in the modern art of 20th century. After his passing, Institute was founded to protect his works and sell them because he often suggested that most of his works belong to a home, and not a massive museum. The Institute was shut down when Independence war of Croatia started in neighbouring Yugoslavia. His works are now found everywhere even though they are rare because he worked on the very long. For instance, this work was created from 1965. to 1968. because he thoroughly captured his ideas and the made a sketch. He bought gold and mixed it which took a long time to dry and repeated the process 6 times to recreate fields.
