Originally from the southwest of France in the Pyrénées Atlantiques (64), I am also based in Normandy and the Paris region where I exhibit regularly.
Figurative in style, my painting is done on site in front of the motif as often as possible.
Having grown up in a military environment, the spirit of adventure and travel has transported me since childhood where I grew up overseas on the Islands of St-Pierre - Miquelon (North America) and Saint Martin (Caribbean). ) as well as in many cities in France.
The numerous moves have forged in me a need for freedom which I continue to maintain by painting.
After 3 years of study at the art school, I made painting my profession. . My paintings are visible in art galleries and also through my site for a particular order.

PAINTING PRIZES AT THE PARIS ARTS SCIENCES ET LETTERS FAIR 2022

COTE AKOUN ARTPRICE

below text from specialized magazine:

Sketch of the portrait of the painter-designer "LORANN LACAVE LADEUIX" by Michel Vital Le bossé, writer, University professor of languages in Paris (the Sorbonne), Officer of Arts and letters, Doctor of human sciences, Member of the society of French poets and of the ethnographic society of Paris, arts critic.

The artist LORANN LACAVE LADEUIX combines a mastery of the art of line, charcoal which varies infinitely in proportions that are both gigantic and measured. He pushes back the limits which block the horizon, the barriers of the invisible , painting from the particular to the universal, from the monotype or the sketch to the gigantomachy of his murals. Thus he created pictorial hangings covering two floors of the "Madura" building on rue Saint Pierre in Caen, or the monumental god of medicine Eusculope who drapes in majesty the facade of the Danjou pharmacy on place Malherbe, facing and honoring the house of the Caen poet.

Rue Arcisse de Caumont, at the frontispiece of a bar full of young people and students: "La Garsouille", a name borrowed from a very old manuscript found in the mold of the cellar, these are scenes of primitive life which have survived bad weather; cave creatures with demonic appearances blaze in a wild display of barbaric celebration. Like Father Colombe's still in Zola's "L'assommoir", compared to a dragon, didn't he want to suggest a lair to the both friendly and atypical.

The precision of his style, his mastery of lines and surfaces give his work an epic dimension.

Loran Lacave is an artist that time will remember, he knows how to understand and recreate life, from the most modest support to the most vast mythological fresco

This meeting with the artist cannot exhaust the extent of a talent and a creativity which extends from one shore to the other of our distant dreams in the multiple landscapes of life rediscovered
