But during we are fighting to see the light again, we feel sad, miserable and vulnerable. The future seems hopeless, the world seems to be a very dark place and our bad thoughts overwhelm us with negativity.
But then, a moment of joy appears, like the light of the sun warming our cold bodies.
From these moments of joy come suddenly some kind of peace, a new peaceful way of dealing with the bad and the good things in life, welcoming all the feelings, accepting our dark sides and letting grow up the child we were and we still are. The masks fall down, we know we are loved and we are able to love ourselves and the others.
After the thunderstorm, comes hope, we are older but wiser, we are still up and down but more authentic, we still don't understand everything but we are more spiritual, we learn to accept wo we really are, we learn self-love and with it loving others. And that's it.

I'm a french artist, illustrator, graphic designer and art therapist living in Cologne.
I studied at the Schools of Applied Arts Estienne and Duperré in Paris.
After my diploma, I moved to germany where I'm living and working since then.
I work with ink, watercolor, pencils and gouache and sometimes with Procreate.
In Cologne I studied art therapy to combine the two things I love to do, making art and working with people.
I love drawing portraits. My art is a lot about the ordinary, simple and intimate moments of life, which can be very precious. But also about feelings and emotions, which can be overwhelming. My artworks are mainly based on what I experienced in my own life. The main topics are, for example, the challenges that a woman can face in our society, maternity and motherhood, childhood, faith and spirituality...
But sometimes, when I feel light-hearted, I let me the freedom to draw whatever I want, very spontaneously and without thinking too much, just for the joy of looking at the colors filling the white paper. And from time to time, it turns out to be a very nice artwork!
