Laurent Ferrie, alias Loferrie, is a contemporary French painter. Loferrie started painting in 2014, experimenting with pure abstraction but rapidly evolved toward hard-edge abstraction with geometric content. He mostly draws his inspiration from within, it is a spiritual process, a channeling of energies then translated to the canvas.

Loferrie explores the intersection of abstraction and pure geometrical forms with integrated symbols that represent an idea or concept. He believes that the relationship between the geometrical and the symbolic embodies an ideal harmony within the universe. His paintings reflect his inner world, his way to convey a universal message, a key to unlock hidden knowledge.
