Drawing of a man with a briefcase in his hand in a blue suit, a white shirt tied with a blue tie. Instead of a man's face, the head of a white noble horse. He stands over an abyss. The whole body swayed forward as if he was about to fall. Behind him is a clear turquoise sky. The moment stretched out indefinitely.
There are times when everything becomes not so important and you sadly realize that you have worked as a “racehorse” all your life. Good worker, even somewhere the best, sincerely enjoying your work, but ... have you ever been sincerely happy to the end?
One of my favorite authors, JD Salinger, who wrote “The Catcher in the Rye”, and although I like other works by this author, in a sense it was the title of this novel that pushed me to this drawing. However, unlike the great Salinger, I changed the name, and in the end, it turned out "Don't laugh over the abyss", which in Russian sounds very similar to the original title, but in fact is just a play on words. In Russian, the word "rye" has two meanings: it is a genitive noun, meaning cereal; and the other is a verb that usually applies to the sound, that horses make. Sometimes in colloquial speech we use this word to people when they laugh too loudly and rudely...
I have a presentiment of how, after that, suggestions with various psychotechnics will fall on me, how to make me eternally happy ... no need, friends 😊. I am quite comfortable with my sadness.
All the best inventions, in my opinion, were created out of laziness or boredom. And the best works of art and music were created in sadness.
Sadness is beautiful 😊
