Obras de arte originais são todas as obras consideradas autênticas e não uma cópia ou imitação das obras originais de um artista. As obras de arte originais podem ser qualquer tipo de pintura, escultura, performance ou outra mídia. Existem muitos tipos de mídia original. A mídia mista inclui tintas a óleo, acrílicas e aquarela. Para pinturas de oficina que testemunham o artesanato, essa atribuição deve ser mais matizada. Embora possam ser menos valiosos por vários motivos, as reproduções e cópias tiveram um grande impacto em nossa experiência. Eles atingem um público mais amplo do que os originais e agem como um tônico contra a mercantilização. A obra original também pode referir-se à primeira obra, que sempre precede todas as outras. I will always remember my favorite philosophy professor, who commented about the art of painting "if painters wanted to an exact reproduction, then why not just take a photograph?" Your painting style must be infused with passion--your own interpretation of the world around you....
My art is unique and, although strongly influenced by modern painters, it is issued of none of the past movements. It addresses the social struggles in the 21st century--it is mostly social commentary. It is aimed at conveying the unspeakable, the taboos, and give a voice to the voiceless--displace beauty to redefine it.
For instance, "the 21st Century Crucifixion" is an ode to the woman, and her daily assassination in modern society--where there is an extreme regression, as far as women's rights are concerned. "The Other Journey" encourages people to seek completion, within themselves, and to live their passions to fulfillment. "Black is Blue" is a silent ode to all the black artists who have died, while trying to express the blues inherent to their life, those who experience daily racism and yet prevail through the power of their mind. "Children of the Pyramids" asks questions about the origins of knowledge and how generosity is often rewarded by cruelty.
It is foremost instinctual, symbolic, and especially unique. It is utterly contemporary, because it embodies the multiculturalism of modern societies. It is the Western north, with a touch of South.
