Lita Cabellut

Lita Cabellut (born 1961 in Sariñena, Spain) is a renowned artist based in The Hague, Netherlands. Known for her large-scale canvases, she combines a modern interpretation of fresco techniques with a unique palette that brings her characters to life.

Raised in Barcelona under challenging circumstances, Cabellut found inspiration in the works of Goya, Velázquez, and Rembrandt after being adopted by a Catalan family. She later studied at the Gerrit Rietveld Academy in Amsterdam, where she developed the signature techniques that define her art.

In addition to painting, Cabellut explores various mediums, including sculpture, photography, installations, and poetry, solidifying her reputation as a multidisciplinary visionary.
