Lilit has a lot of experience painting outside (plain air) which allows her to have a connection with nature- while working in the studio.
She has also been engaged in decorative puppetry and tapestry from student years, and that colored thread thinking helps to impress in decorative style more freely and easily. It allows to concentrating on a picture's texture too, through texture to get different depths on the canvas.

Biography
Lilit Vardanyan is an Armenian impressionist, expressionist artist. As a visual artist, she works in different fields such as painting, graphic design, embroidery design, and handmade dolls making.
The professional art education she received in Armenia as a master of fine arts at the Armenian State Pedagogical University. Currently, Her paintings can be found in many private collections in Germany, the USA, Russia, France, the UK, and Armenia.
For many years the light in nature became the main inspiration for Lilit's works. Therefore, she often creates her works outside on plain air. As she says: "every single artwork comes from the specific place and has its own unique energy". Her artworks are a combination of her feelings and reality.
Using oil paints with thick textures and expressive brushstrokes Lilit indicates dynamic motion and energy of nature in her paintings. Her art is dedicated to nature with her unique approach.

My painting

Lilit Vardanyan was born in Armenia in 1980. She has been drawing from childhood. She started taking art seriously as a teenager after taking award "Golden Elephant" in Germany. She has graduated Fine Arts faculty of Pedagogical University in Armenia, and now she studies in post graduate in the same University. She began oil painting in 1998. Her work is primarily figurative with a stylistic nod to the Masters and the Impressionists. Lilit paints her pictures in plain air.
