Lilit Vardanyan was born in Armenia in 1980. She has been drawing from childhood. She started taking art seriously as a teenager after taking award "Golden Elephant" in Germany. She has graduated Fine Arts faculty of Pedagogical University in Armenia, and now she studies in post graduate in the same University. She began oil painting in 1998. Her work is primarily figurative with a stylistic nod to the Masters and the Impressionists. Lilit paints her pictures in plain air.
