This work was completed by laying a row of acrylic then spraying it with water. The pain was allowed to run tloff the canvas. The canvas when then rotated and the process completed. This work was completed by laying a row of acrylic then spraying it with water. The pain was allowed to run tloff the canvas. The canvas when then rotated and the process completed. This work was then placed on my floor for hardware. The following week our home flooded while we were away. The painting sat submerged for several days in a few inches of water. This work was miraculously spared aside from some fraying of the canvas on the corner that was submerged.

Leslie began painting in 2015. She painted only sparsely, preferring to sew or knit. Leslie's painting accelerated in 2023 due to her chronic illness diagnosis and a move. Leslie enjoys that painting can be done regardless of her physical condition. It does not worsen symptoms of her Ehlers-danlos Syndrome. Leslie also enjoys homeschooling her four children and watching sci-fi with her husband.
