Back in December 23, 1999 my dad had this horrible nightmare and daddy made a note of this nightmare. Daddy did not know what to make of it. Daddy had a nightmare about an old television show called “Combat,” starring Vick Moral and all the men were in fox holes. Some were dead, some were dying, and some were bloody. There were all kinds of noises from gunfire. Finally something huge and big sounded. All the men looked up including the sick and the wounded. That’s when dad woke up and made his notes. Daddy could not forget about that nightmare. Daddy said while making his note, “ It finally happened, the big one.” This cartoon was printed in the Better Buyer, on Wednesday February 9, 2000.
