Biography
Thank you for visiting, it is an honor to share my paintings with you. In my paintings I am trying to capture the immense beauty found in our world. If my work creates strong feelings in the viewer, then I have succeeded as an artist. Being the son of a retired meteorologist I have a fascination for skies, clouds and various atmospheric phenomena. Among my favourite local Toronto areas to paint is the Scarborough Bluffs and Leslie Street Spit. I owe a lot my development as an painter to Vladimir Ribatchok a great Russian artist who has taught me a great deal . I am an associate member of Oil Painters of America. This feature was aired on Global TV September 22, 2009 on Cliffside Village in Scarborough Ontario which showed my paintings Scarborough's Jewel and Two Islands. It also featured a short interview with me.

Thank you for visiting, I hope you enjoy viewing my paintings. Please sign my guest book, I welcome your support. I am a forty five year old engineer working full time in the automotive industry. I took up oil painting as a hobby in late 2002 after doing alot of drawing as a kid, and for a short while some oil painting when I was fifteen years old. Along with digital photography, and athletics oil painting has become a great passion of mine. I owe a lot my development as an artist to Vladimir Ribatchok who has been my teacher since I started. Vladimir is master painter originally from Russia. I am an associate member of Oil Painters of America.
