When I was choosing landscapes to paint these years, for some reason my choice stops at those with a golden-blue color scheme. These colors appeal to me more now. I don't choose them on purpose, but when I lined up landscapes from the early to mid-2020s, I was surprised to find that almost all of them were like that. Like Aivazovsky, who conveyed the dynamism and aggressiveness of life circumstances through the image of a raging water element, I do something similar, concentrating my creativity on the study
of the endless facets of the element of stone. Mountains also grow and move, but their tempo is slow compared to human perception. Judging by geology, in prehistoric times, stone was molten lava before it acquired its stable form.
This once again brings to mind the transience of even that which creates the impression of indestructibility. Turning to the image of a thin, winding path, of course, the idea of the middle way, so popular in Buddhism, comes to mind. But someone can also go the other way, assuming that the beaten path is not always the best, and that real heroes go across, choosing independent trajectories of movement. But even in this case, no matter how one tries to be original in such logistics, all this does not matter if the goal that different people have reached by different paths is the same.
