That is why people so like to watch sunsets, sunrises, rain, fog. All these phenomena give rise to a strong emotional response in us. We rejoice at the rainbow after a rainstorm, we are afraid of thunderstorms and lightning in bad weather, although, unlike the ancients, we have comprehended the laws of physics. The sun shifts us from sleep mode to wakefulness mode, and darkness - back to sleep. We are sad in cloudy weather and happy in sunny one. Even if a person is more independent of the mood of nature, visual images associated with the weather are born in his mind. Our speech is full of figurative comparisons, appealing to the comparison of different phenomena of human life and nature. Man himself, by his nature, is an expression of the state of nature. Looking at a joyful smiling person, we will feel his goodwill and imagine that he is a little sun, our soul will feel warm. If we come across someone threatening and critical, then the sensations will be the opposite - as if we were caught in pouring cold rain and got wet through and through. My creative and professional experience is more than 30 years.

From 1980 till 1985 studied at Kharkov Art and Industrial Design Institute (now – Kharkov State Academy of Design and Arts) and finished the industrial art faculty (industrial Design department) with the distinction (diploma ЖВ-1 № 120406).
Worked as a graphic designer, illustrator. Designed more than 50 printed publications. Took part in international illustration and photography competitions (Bologna Children’s Book Fair, Futura, Biennial of Illustrations Bratislava, The Al-Thani award, Bienal internacional de ilustracao para a infancia). In 2004 was awarded by iBbY (International Council for Books for Young people) Honour List 2004 for the high quality illustrations, Basel, Switzerland and by the Certificate of Honour for Illustration (for “Piratic stories”), Cape Town, South Africa. Since 1994 until now teaches in Dnipro Art College.
