Svetlana Konstantinova is an artist who keeps up with the times, her work is diverse and multifaceted, it sparkles with reflections of our complex and contradictory world. Svetlana works in different genres and each has its own special vision. Her floral arrangements are feminine, sensual and subtle. Juicy flowers, soaring birds of Paradise, like an enticing sweet dreams, in which we want to escape from the grey everyday city life, to immerse yourself in this fascinating world, to feel the fragrance of flowers, hear the chirping of a bird and the whistle of the Nightingale.
Svetlana Konstantinova's landscapes reflect the worldview of the artist, who sees nature in all its color diversity. Sonorous, bright colors, recognizable motifs of birch groves and flowering meadows along the banks of rivers excite memories of careless summer walks, events from distant childhood, about the winged youth and native lands.
The theme of his native Russian land is particularly interesting Svetlana Alekseevna, a number of works the artist associated with Russian folklore, in which the name of the picture –a proverb or saying. The paintings themselves are written in a laconic language, originating in folk art – bright pure colors, simple compositions, stylized image.
A special direction in the work of Svetlana Konstantinova – "symbolic compositions", as they are called by the artist herself. In them, it touches on the intimate and philosophical themes, forcing you to think and focus on the soul-stirring aspects of life. The small format forces to come close to a cloth, to remain alone with a picture, to plunge into a subject and to conduct silent dialogue with the author.
It is difficult to say in what specific manner Svetlana Alekseevna writes, she does not stop at the achieved results and boldly experiments, applying various styles in her work. One of the successful experiments – "geometric compositions", their creation was inspired by the author of cubism and pop art. These are interesting and bright works in which plastic, rhythm and verified composition set the mood.
Each round in the work of Svetlana Konstantinova is a successful search for yourself in contemporary art.
