i can't remember what i originally called this when i first developed and mounted it. it was around the time that i came up the name LaMasqueDuMinet, so now (even if it's what i originally called it anyway) it is called "LaMasqueDuMinet the CheshireKat". out of all my pictures from my 2003-2004 photography portfolio,[...]

out of all my pictures from my 2003-2004 photography portfolio, this was probably the most difficult picture, in the sense that it was a BRAT to develop in the darkroom. i suppose it was my own fault, because i should have taken into account the massive amount of winter sunlight streaming in through the window and the effect that would have on aperture and such. but oh well. i got good experience out of it because i had to learn how to burn in specific parts of a photograph in the darkroom. and besides, it's a pretty cute/funny picture. many thanks to katook for taking this one; i drew the stuff on the window and set up the shot. i also took one of katook in a similar pose, except the window-drawing was of devil horns and tail, with katook taking a dr. evil pinky-up-to-smirk look, if that makes any sense... problem is the damn thing didn't develop right!! i should try and recreate that shot next winter...

oh yes, and a thank-you to libby the lizard for making that 3-times-my-height scarf for me. ^_^
