Contemporary individuals face numerous challenges stemming from a disconnection with their true selves and inner essence. This disconnect has become a critical factor in the decline of life quality, exacerbated by rapid technological advancement and the accelerating pace of life. Amid relentless information overload, societal pressures, and daily chaos, many experience a growing loss of identity and alienation from the core aspects of their inner “self.” Consequently, this leads to confusion about personal desires, needs, and authentic intentions.
In a society fixated on achievement and the relentless pursuit of material wealth, individuals push themselves to extremes of stress and burnout, severely hindering their ability to cultivate inner equilibrium.
In this context, integrating foundational spiritual practices becomes indispensable for reconnecting with one’s true essence.
The core challenge lies in the fact that many people remain unaware of the importance of this journey or lack knowledge of the tools and methods available to address it.
In my artistic work, the circle serves as the central symbolic and compositional element.
As Kandinsky observed: *“The circle is the synthesis of the greatest oppositions. It combines the concentric and eccentric within a single form. It embodies equilibrium, formal unity, and balance. Among the three primary shapes, the circle is the one that most distinctly points toward the fourth dimension.”*
My objective is to demonstrate that engaging with art can serve as a deeply comforting and effective form of meditation—a gateway to unity with one’s inner self.
The contemplation of art offers a unique pathway to slowing the torrent of thoughts, creating space to focus on emotions, sensations, and immediate needs. By weaving these practices into daily life, individuals gain not only self-awareness but also the ability to navigate their internal states. This skill becomes a powerful tool for unpacking and understanding thoughts, feelings, and experiences. It fosters adaptability in a fast-paced, often chaotic world, carving out room for self-discovery, personal growth, and transformative change. Ultimately, this journey represents one of the most direct routes to a life marked by harmony, fulfillment, and authentic happiness.
