When the vegetation covers on cliffs wake up to bud – the signal of an oncoming spring – Ha Long becomes magically. Rows of fir trees and rock mountains surround and separate surface of sea into the blue and beautiful large lakes, and dracaena flowers are emitting fragrant scents on the cliffs. The rocky mountains were solid, rough and rugged which suddenly become soft, delicate in the blue water, they are dimly visible. Spring here always elicits my mind a strong, endless but poetic beginning.
Boats are lined up closely. Thousands of colorful pearls are in harmony with spacious quiet between heavens and water of Ha Long. Those pearls are sometimes rough, rugged, sometimes magic, sparking. Sometimes they stand closely to create so beautiful lakes which are like vast mirrors so that rock mountains and flowers reflected in the lakes. This is my endless source of inspiration to create art works about Ha Long Bay – A World Heritage Site!!
