Anita Kaufmann ist eine zeitgenössische deutsche Künstlerin. Kaufmann verbrachte sechs Jahre auf See, wo sie die Möglichkeit hatte, verschiedene andere Kulturen kennenzulernen. Sie glaubt, dass der Übergang von abstrakter Kunst zu menschlichen Gesichtern in ihren Bildern während dieser Zeit nur natürlich, wenn nicht sogar unvermeidlich war.
