My name is Katerina , I am a painter. I work at the junction of genres such as neoclassical portrait and aestheticism. I started building a career in the art business in 2022, and during this time many of my works have found their place in private collections in Europe, the USA and Georgia.In my works, I use various techniques of oil painting, which allows me to achieve depth, volume, realism and expressiveness. These are mainly sfumato, impasto, light-shadow effects, lines.In my works, I explore the themes of identity and the inner world of man. I'm trying to show that every person is a whole universe with their own emotions and stories. I try to make the audience realize their uniqueness and harmony with the world around them. I fill my work with symbols and metaphors using color, composition and shapes. My work has been greatly influenced by life in exile, which is associated with the loss of familiar things, a change in environment, values, priorities and opportunities. These changes are reflected in my works, giving them new meanings and depth. Studying the biographies and works of contemporary and well-known artists inspire me to search for my own artistic individuality.My goal is to continue to explore and uncover important topics, hoping that they will resonate with the audience and inspire new thoughts.
