The tulip reminds me of a beautiful young girl. It's because of the slimness of the flower, I guess. Tulips are just as modestly bowing their heads while they are still in bloom. A tulip bud on a flexible straight stem is a real work of art. Their petals are so delicate, as if made of silk or some other magical material. You touch them and you're afraid to wrinkle them.
Tulips come in all kinds of colours. The most common are red ones, with a yellow calyx with pollen inside in a black frame. Such tulips grow, for instance, in my grandparents' garden. And then there are pale pink, yellow, white, spotted, fringed and non-fringed tulips, and scarlet, purple too! There are different kinds of tulips! Florists have even bred black tulips, they are just beautiful.
Tulips are very beautiful when they bloom. And the most beautiful tulips I've ever seen grew in a flowerbed by the theatre. They were a rare variety. These tulips were a delicate pink, even white-pink, such a delicate shade. And through the delicate petals the sun shone through. On the lawn grass of the flowerbed these tulips looked simply divine.
Art board, oil, A4.

I drew as a child, I especially liked children's paper dolls. I drew their faces, hair, clothes and surroundings. I made puppets from flowers. That's what got creative.
I received basic knowledge of technique and theory of painting at art school as a child. After leaving school, I got confused in the variety of professions and chose a more mundane profession, so for some time I did not touch paints and brushes.
Becoming a mother, I reconsidered my life, set priorities and began to do what I love - painting. This is a painting that resonates in my heart. Painting as a vital necessity.
As I explored new techniques in acrylic, oil, and portraiture, I found it much more interesting to explore the full range of painting techniques and approaches to creating art on my own.
