Katerina Teresidi
Katerina Teresidi is a contemporary Austrian artist known for her figurative paintings that speak the language of dreams, serving as contemporary witnesses to our world. After earning her Diploma at the Art University Linz in 2015 under the guidance of Prof. Huebner and Diploma supervisor Prof. Joanna Barck, she relocated to Vienna, Austria, where she currently works as a professional artist and event organizer.
Teresidi is deeply engaged in the cultural field, collaborating with various galleries and art collectives while also teaching art and curating exhibitions. Her artistic vision revolves around a synthesis of the outer and inner worlds, drawing inspiration from the Jungian symbolic language of depth psychology. Through her works, she reflects on the collective movement in the face of technologization, exploring its effects, possibilities, and challenges for individuals and societies alike.

On October 5, 2023, thanks to the organization of the director and visual artist, Ms. Parizad Farzaneh, the vernissage of the "Her Story" exhibition took place at the EGA Women's Cultural Center in Vienna. Lasting memories of the evening were captured by the photographer, Mr. Murtaza Elham.
It was a beautiful event featuring the artists Shiva Abossedgh, Carina Edler, Sabine Frudensprung, Ulli Klepalski Hermine Steinbach-Buchinger, and musical support from Saba Mazaji! The Chairwoman of the EGA Women's Cultural Center, Nicole Berger-Krotsch, and the Deputy to the Vienna State Parliament and City Council, Patricia Anderle were the speakers and guests of the evening.

The 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) for 2030 are articulated objectives of the United Nations for shaping a sustainable society that considers both the individual and their environment, aiming to contribute to a harmonious coexistence of humans and nature. Guided by these principles, the associations "Medias In Res - MIR" and "LichTraum" are organizing a traveling exhibition that aligns with the given theme. With the participation of various artistic perspectives and organizations, this exhibition aims to raise awareness of the idea of sustainable development possibilities in a low-threshold and public manner, while also reflecting on the current state on individual and global levels.
The first vernissage took place on August 4, 2023, at 7:00 PM at the "Lichtraum Eins by Paul Siblik" gallery, located at Heinrichsgasse 2, 1010 Vienna, and was organized in close cooperation between the two associations, "MIR - Medias In Res" by Katerina Teresidi and the "LichTraum" association by Sonia Siblik: https://www.lichtraumbysoniasiblik.com/
The second vernissage of the traveling exhibition "Path Reflections 2.0" will be held on February 16, 2024, with a modified program and additional artistic perspectives at the Kulturankerzentrum Schlingerhof, located at Brünner Str. 34-38, 1210 Vienna Floridsdorf, with the support of the Red Carpet Art Award association.
DELAY-Magazine Interview, Red Carpet Art Award and BVBKÖ Art Award 2021
In May 2020 Katerina Teresidi was interviewed about her working series "Inner Worlds" in course of the exhibition of the series in the public space inside the showrooms of Red Carpet Art Award located in the subway station "Landstrasse" in Vienna.
The displayed work "Inspiration" won the Art Award 2021 of the "Association of Professional Austrian Artists" (German: "Berufsvereinigung der Bildenden Künstler Österreich - BVBKÖ") and was exhibited inside the "Art Salon Castle Schönbrunn".
The Sleep Of Reason - VOR Magazin Vienna
In autumn 2022, due to the exhibition "Female Evolution" which was realised in cooperation with the artist Veronika Junger inside the "EGA Women's Cultural Center" Vienna the artist Katerina Teresidi was interviewed by the journalist Sebastian Höllmüller of the "ECHO Medienhouse" about her current focus of work, in particular about the painting series "Natural Technology". The interview was published in the November-edition of the prominent "VOR-Magazin" Vienna, available in public train stations, inside Austrian federal trains and in tramways in Vienna.
