Julie Galiay is a contemporary French artist. Born in Clermont Ferrand, France in 1979, she has dedicated all her free time since childhood to the pursuit of drawing and painting, nurturing her artistic skills. Her artistic journey took a significant turn when she relocated to Royan in 1994 and crossed paths with art teacher Jacques Laigle, who played a pivotal role in fueling her passion.

Julie Galiay is a self-taught artist who finds great joy in working with acrylics, Posca, and aerosol paint, which she recently borrowed from the realm of street art. After a profound exploration to discover her own artistic universe, she now draws inspiration from pleasure and love. Julie Galiay's artistic expression revolves around the sublime portrayal of women, celebrating their curves and exuding their sensual strength. Through a vibrant interplay of colors, she breathes life into her work.

Her artistic endeavors continually evolve, ranging from capturing the beauty of curvaceous female bodies to depicting luscious mouths and creating powerful portraits. With a deep passion for life and an unwavering devotion to love and femininity, Julie Galiay is an artist who channels her hypersensitivity into the realm of sensuality, which has become her life force.
