This painting was inspired by the beauty of Siamese fighting fish. This painting is part of the large Blue Lagoon project, inspired by the beauty of mineral stones and blue agates.
The volumetric plaster water lilies in the picture look very exotic, they have a golden and mother-of-pearl sheen and are decorated with rhinestones.
The leaves of the water lilies are filled with resin and rainbow flakes, so the whole picture sparkles beautifully in sunlight and under artificial lighting.
I am also very inspired by the incredible blue color of the water. Glare on the water and the fish together form an incredibly beautiful pattern.
