Hi, I'm Judy and welcome to my website on Artmajeur!
Art is definitely my passion!
What I want you to see in my work is “a moment in the life”.
A fleeting moment capturing an expression that tells a story in a single image.
It should allow the viewer to interact with it, each viewer interpreting their own story.
It is always what I strive to accomplish.
I am a self taught artist. I paint in oils, and I draw with pencil , charcoal, colored pencils and pastels.
My works are in private collections worldwide. including U.S., Europe, Asia, and Australia. I thank you for landing on my page and hope you enjoy looking through my works.

Hi! I'm Judy Rioux.
Art is definitely my passion! I have been painting for 20 years. I grew up with a pencil, and anything I could find to draw on.
I love to draw and paint people.
What I want you to see in my work is “a moment in the life”.
A fleeting moment capturing an expression that tells a story in a single image.
To catch that elusive moment in time.
To allow the viewer to interact with it, each viewer to interpret their own story.
It is always what I strive to accomplish.
I am a primarily self taught artist. Although, I have also learned a lot from fellow artists.
I paint in oils, and I draw with pencil , charcoal, colored pencils and pastels.
My works are in private collections worldwide. including the U.S., Europe, Asia, and Australia.
