John Gerard has been dedicated to photography since he was young, from analogue photography to digital photography, without having turned this passion into his profession. He pursues photography as a free, independent artist and sees himself more as an image designer than as a photo reporter.
He does not restrict his work to specific themes, but rather enjoys capturing all the different motifs that appeal to him and working on them as he sees fit. Whether it is people in different situations, old or new architecture, nature with its immeasurable expanses as well as the fascinating details that nature always brings to light, animals in the wild or in game reserves, sports, where his interest lies in basketball. Digital painting also appeals to him again and again.
In his works he always tries to portray the beauty inherent in all things.
