Born in 1936 in Móra la Nova (Tarragona) and living in Barcelona since he was seventeen years old.
His training is self-taught. He perfected the oil painting technique by attending the workshops of Barcelona painters of the time, such as R. González Carbonell and others.
Figurative painter “in the classic way”, although with two different lines of work:
Realism in his still lifes - reminiscent of those of the “Spanish School” - seascapes and landscapes, frankly textured by the palette knife work of the oil paint.
Surrealism inspired by Dalí, whom he had admired since he was a child and whom he had the opportunity to meet personally through his friend Ángel Planells, a contemporary surrealist painter of Dalí. Generally, in all his compositions we find erotic, fantastic, magical and dreamlike elements.
