João Feijó was born in Lisbon in 1963. He moved to Germany at the age of 11 months where he remained until the age of 12. It was there, for the first time, that he was noticed by his artistic skills, exploring the difficult technique of watercolor. When he returned to Portugal he started working with Multifaceted Gallery, and since 1984 he began to dedicate exclusively to fine arts. He degreed in painting, photography and sculpture at A.R.C.O and also drawing at the S.N.B.A. He also worked with consecrated artists: Pedro Calapez and Ivo at A.R.C.O; Moreira Aguiar; Vieira Baptista; Gustavo Fernandes and Artur Bual. A huge part of his work belongs to private and public collections all over the world such as Canada, Germany, Spain, England, Belgium, Brazil, United States, Japan, Macau, China, Tunisia, France, Holland and Angola. For more than 18 years he was also curator and gallery director, responsible for important Art events in a national and international important level.
