Joana Antunes, nascida a 14 de março de 1979 em Amarante, reside atualmente em Felgueiras. Desde jovem, foi exposta ao mundo das artes, particularmente através do desenho, pintura e cerâmica, o que influenciou a sua decisão de seguir uma carreira nas artes visuais. Nos anos 90, participou em circuitos artísticos regionais, onde as suas obras começaram a ser exibidas e adquiridas por colecionadores privados. Com o tempo, Joana ganhou reconhecimento, e as suas exposições começaram a ganhar mais destaque, tanto em mostras coletivas ao lado de grandes artistas nacionais e internacionais, como em exposições individuais por todo o Portugal.
