Born and raised in Washington, D.C., I retired from a career in IT in which I relied upon the mastery of computer syntax and the creation of logical structures. I now focus on developing an artistic eye for the play of light across objects from the mundane to the extraordinary. As a means of continuing to explore the photographic arts, I am currently enrolled in ongoing classes from fellow Collective member, Lew Berry. I explore color, black and white, and fanciful manipulations of captured images to create scenes that could, heretofore, only have been seen in my own imagination.
