Stomach Acid Jazz (2022) Digitale Kunst von Jenny Pivor

A photo-based artist, Jenny Pivor comes to photography from a background in graphic and web design as well as painting. 

She creates various themes, interpreting her feelings about jazz, the natural world, the state of the world, and relatable moments in street photography, but all feature large areas of flat color, balanced with patterns and blended shapes that convey a powerful sense of solitude. Her composite, digital art is created by blending disparate images shot at different places and times revealing a new statement, stronger and different than either of the originals on their own. Comments about her work range from “beautiful” to “strong” to “graphic”.

Previously Boston-based, Jenny now lives with her cat and dog in the seaside town of Newburyport, Massachusetts. There is seldom a day when Jenny isn’t shooting photos in her beautiful seacoast town, editing, or painting. This website contains some of her main areas of interest, which are capturing a strong color statement as well as human emotions, rather than simply capturing a scene.
