The High Priestess is the third card of the Tarot's Major Arcana. She is imbued with the gifts of hidden knowledge and psychic experience. She is also associated with the archetypal symbolism of the Moon and the regenerative nature of water. The card’s message is to go inward and deepen our relationship with our higher self; its reversed meaning is a loss of self-knowledge. Relative to The Magician, The High Priestess signifies our unconscious powers as opposed to those associated with conscious realization. She embodies inner wisdom at its most profound level.

For years and years, I’ve searched within the world the camera could capture for the “decisive moment” that’s been eluding photographers since the early days of photographic inventions. The advent of digital imaging freed artists like me who felt hampered by analog limitations. Through the use of imaging software, I create imagery in a manner very much like a painter. Every image helps me further realize what I’ve seen. I draw from the collective consciousness of photographic images that I’ve collected to create imagery that reflects my thoughts and feelings at the time of creation. For me, every photo whispers something about life, about living, and about engaging the moment.

Simply put, my images reflect the world that I see.
