Jean-Pierre Lenas was born in France, in the Sarthe department, in 1950. A self-taught painter, he has always drawn and painted for his pleasure while participating in a few artistic workshops in the 1980s. Since then, he has continued his work alone by presenting it in several personal exhibitions and regularly at various salons where several of his paintings were awarded prizes.
His creation, which remains figurative, is expressed in different genres but tends to focus on the treatment of the human figure in series of drawings or paintings using several mediums.
Jean-Pierre Lenas remains faithful to traditional painting where drawing and bright colors have their place.
