Je m’appelle Jean Marie Marchal artiste peintre né en 1953, originaire d’Angoulême France.
Dès l'enfance, mes premiers traits étaient portés vers le dessin. Mes parents auraient souhaité m’inscrire à « l’Ecole des Beaux-Arts » mais cela ne peut se réaliser.
L'année 2018 a marqué mes premiers pas en peinture à l’huile. Rapidement devenue mon médium principal, chaque toile est alors une forme d'expérimentation me permettant d'exposer tout en m'exerçant aux fondamentaux.
Aujourd’hui je fréquente « L’Ecole d’Art du Grand Angoulême » ou je pratique le dessin d’observation ainsi que le dessin de modèles vivants ce qui a été une découverte transformative, me permettant de me libérer et d'explorer la spontanéité.
Avec le temps, j'ai inconsciemment approfondi une sensibilité à l'observation. L'infini des lignes et des couleurs dans l'espace m'ont semblé être une évidence. Devenue ma principale source d'inspiration, mes voyages à travers le monde et la nature contribuent à composer mes tableaux.
La peinture est pour moi une aventure sans fin, une source d'aspiration à la liberté !
