The Photo is for him a fixed image which must in an instant with what it carries in it, provide a feeling, an emotion, represent the reality of a situation or express the evidence of a moment of life, the truth !
Whatever the subject photographed, a portrait, a landscape or even a scene of life, he always makes sure that his shutter lets in light. This light thanks to which a scene is possible, but above all authentic.
For him, "the art of photography" is that of writing light when the moment is offered to capture a moment, a situation, a fixed movement or a whole story in a fraction of a second.
Jean-Guy Nakars is based on Reunion Island in Le Tampon (France). There they say, where God rests in winter! His work is present in many private collections.
