"Fine-Arts" prints on paper
It is a process of printing on art paper using very high-quality pigment inks and printed in very high definition. Its level of conservation is exceptional (more than 100 years), its quality, depth, and richness of nuances exceeds the classic photo print on Argentic paper.

Glossy finish
Apart from its exceptional thickness, the fiber paper is composed of an alpha-cellulose base without acid and it is covered with barium sulphate, and a microporous layer absorption enhancing pigments during printing. A pure white color, non-yellowing to light, this paper is especially designed for resistance and aging. It is used by major museums worldwide as it offers excellent resolution, rendering deep and dense colors.

Jean-Claude Mathier was born in Switzerland in 1949 and has been practicing photography for half a century, independently and freely, outside of any fashion trend. He attended the School of Arts and Crafts in Vevey in Switzerland and took courses at the Beaux-Arts in Paris. His mode of artistic expression is pictorial. This offers him the opportunity to magnify the beauty and aesthetics of nature, which opens the doors to understanding self-knowledge, inner peace and respect for life in all its forms. He works by theme. and has more than fifty to offer.
It is through this approach that he invites you to discover his images, whether figurative or abstract, and he thanks you for the attention you pay to his work.
For him photography is not necessarily a Kodak click clack and that's it, it's a work in its own right that is reflected, built over time before pressing the shutter.
It seems normal to him to give free rein to the imagination, to creation, as a painter builds his universe.
From the vision of reality, the artist can bring you into his worlds in a pictorial way without locking photography in its limited reality, that is to say that for him there is no border between the dream and reality. It is the strength of ART in its quintessence that it sublimates.
