Janos Gardonyi, B. Arch (Hons) OAA(Retired), MRAIC is a retired Architect and digital photographer artist of Hungarian origin , ex-Chief Architect of Orlando Corporation where he was responsible for the design and execution of many large business park developments, high rise office towers, industrial and commercial buildings and shopping centers.
His main interest is digital experiments on photographs from architectural subjects, historical buildings, natural scenery and foreign travel as well as digital abstract creations. However, he doesn’t believe in traveling to exotic places to find subject matter, he sees beauty in the immediate surroundings in the micro as well as the macrocosmos. He uses techniques from
“regular” photography to complicated, filtered images using a manipulation of several computer techniques.

Récemment, la division de la ville de Toronto, des parcs, des forêts et des loisirs a couru son premier concours de photo qui a été présenté par Nikon Canada. Nous avons reçu beaucoup d'intérêt et des entrées à partir de partout dans la ville. Sur plus 1 600 entrées, que nous avons pu réduire nos albums photos et votre photo entrée marche mon toutou a reçu une mention honorable. Félicitations.
Alors que nous sommes honorés de recevoir ces photos exceptionnelles prises par les personnes qui ont choisi de partager leurs moments avec nous, seuls 51 fait par le biais de notre processus d'évaluation qui rendent de l'expert à jury comprenant le Dr Roberta Bondar, Moses Znaimer et Kristian Bogner. CITY OF TORONTO PHOTO CONTEST 2014 - HONORABLE MENTION
Congratulations Janos Gardonyi!
Recently the City of Toronto, Parks, Forestry and Recreation division ran its first photo contest which was presented by Nikon Canada. We received a lot of interest and entries from across the city. Out of over 1,600 entries we were able to narrow down our top photos and your photo entry Walking my doggie received honourable mention. Congratulations.
While we are honoured to receive such outstanding photos taken by people who chose to share their moments with us, only 51 made it through our judging process to make it to the expert judging panel consisting of Dr. Roberta Bondar, Moses Znaimer and Kristian Bogner. Congratulations, your photo was one of those finalists.
