This is Candace Cluck. She is from a typical backyard urban farm in my town. She was named Candace by her human caregiver because that was the name of his favorite waitress!!
My "Down on the Farm" series paintings are to show the beauty of all these animals. I want people appreciate them and as meat eaters to be more responsible in choosing local grass and properly fed, well cared for farm animals. Animals that have happy lives outside and non stressed. To think before they purchase their beef, chicken or pork!
