She received her education from Skagit Valley College, Washington State University as well as completing an internship at Dorling Kindersley Publishing in New York. She is currently working on a Certificate in Botanical Illustration from Cornell University. She is making art her lifelong pursuit and continually studies composition, color theory and art history.
