"Couleurs de Bretagne" est un tableau très dynamique, j'ai représenté dans cette oeuvre peinte au couteau les couleurs représentatives de ma région, la Bretagne.
Le bleu de la mer, le rose du granit, le vert de la campagne, le gris des toitures, l'ocre du sable...
Toutes ces couleurs forment un paysage qui représente lui même le décor des légendes Bretonnes. C'est une oeuvre sculptée riche en couleur et en matière. L'architecture des arbres donne de la vie au paysage, leurs reflets dans l'eau prolongent l'image au delà de la toile.

« Colours of Brittany » is a painting full of dynamism. For this art-piece I used a palette knife and painted the colours best representing my native Region, Brittany : the blue tones of the sea, the pink hues of the granite, the green shades of the countryside, the grey of the rooftops, the ochre of the sand.
All these colours compose a landscape which embodies the Breton legends. This vivid, richly textured, sculpted landcape offers a profusion of colours and paint. The dynamic architecture of the trees imparts a sense of life to the landscape. The reflections of the tree-trunks on the water which seem to grow out of the canvass, further reinforce the sprightly quality on the scene. Each cm square displays a unique identity, a signature inkeeping with the impact that the palette knife has left on the paint. This rich art-piece will never make you feel weary.
