Julia Puhova

Julia was born in Saint Petersburg, Russia. In 2015 graduated from Saint Petersburg Stieglitz State Academy of Art and Design with Master’s degree in Graphic Design. In 2010 she attended 2 courses (Graphic design and Abstract painting) at the University of the Arts in London.
As a child (in 2008) Julia received a first prize at Scottish Art May McMaster Award. She took part in several group exhibitions.
She is currently working in her studio in Saint Petersburg.

I have enjoyed creating something since childhood and tried myself in photography, drawing, sculpture, floristics, makeup. Ended up studying graphic design but after graduation life brought me back to fine art. Now I’m working on several projects using different painting and drawing techniques. I always look for novelty and shift my focus but there are a couple of approaches that I consistently work on. All my paintings and drawings are about colour harmonies and which resonate with you.
