Explication de mon titre:
J'ai fait cette gravure au musée Maurice Denis à Saint Germain en Laye où il y a un important fond d'oeuvres gravées de Gauguin auxquelles j'ai eu la chance d'avoir accès et l'ictus de Gauguin m'a inspiré plusieurs gravures dont celle-ci. Elle exprime pour moi la faim de la fin.
Nous retrouvons « l’ictus » associé à un poisson sur une aquarelle de Van Gogh.
Le poisson est aussi un symbole très ancien pour les Hindous, les Grecs, les Juifs, et les Chrétiens.
Son extraordinaire fécondité et la rapide régénération des bancs évoquent la renaissance et la perpétuation des cycles.
La pêche intensive met beaucoup d'espèces en danger d'extinction, et j'ai aussi voulu montrer un poisson mort en l' occurrence, une petite rascasse.
En Chine, le poisson est symbole de chance.
En sanscrit, le dieu de l'Amour se nomme "celui qui a le poisson pour symbole".
Pour les Hindous, le poisson vivant dans l’eau des profondeurs, est également symbole de sagesse, de mysticisme
Le poisson garde toujours les yeux ouverts, belles qualités pour toute personne qui souhaite s’éveiller à son potentiel !
Il m'inspire personnellement, du plus profond de l'eau, un retour à la source, à la connaissance intuitive, à l'accès du fond des choses.
La beauté graphique du poisson m'a inspiré aussi, j'ai souvenir des broderies chinoises, et des dessins japonais à l'encre....

L’idée de délivrer le christianisme, comme toute religion de ses dogmes et de la tutelle de l’église sera un courant qui traversera le XIX ème siècle et que Gauguin et Vincent Van Gogh approfondiront à Arles. Recherche que Gauguin développera et exposera beaucoup plus tard dans « Diverses Choses », « l’Eglise Catholique et les temps Modernes » , puis dans « l’Esprit moderne et le Catholicisme »

Very impressed by the pictures painted by my grandmother in Indochina, I inherited her box of oils. My family refused me to present the fine arts. It was not a job or a place for a young girl in 1970. It was[...]

Painting is above all not a job , besides I have my job as a teacher in Applied Arts.

It's a deliberately free act, a way of being able to express something that seems obvious to me and that others don't see and that is updated by a process of updating. damages or intervenes the memory that mixes with the present moment. A kind of digestion at some point.

My first discovery was Lacquer, its material beauty, a rare and complete technique. (engraving gilding Coromandel) Then apprenticed in the job of lacquerer at ENSAAMA, diploma from the school, then job at the Saint Sabin workshops for Jansen in Paris, and Chaumet in restoration and creation.

I very early in 1978 initiated a creativity workshop using only recycled materials...influenced by outsider art, I endeavored to understand what is the source of the material. art, the creative moment...or the need to do, to empty oneself, to remember and to heal oneself through the materialization of a thought that tries to hold back time.

I don't I am constantly enriching my knowledge with old-fashioned painting at Pôle Atelier. At that time I participated in several small competitions on the banks of the Seine with prizes.

At the same time I discovered Engraving at the Maurice Denis Museum in Saint Germain en Laye. ..then to the ETR Ballistic workshop. Various stays in America, Spain, Tunisia enrich my memories.

Copper engraving is a way for me to reassess my impression with each print because "to start again is not to redo" ; (César) especially since the technique is artisanal.

Since 2013 you can find me in the engraving section at Art en Capital grand palais Paris every year in February.

Adolescence in Mallorca where I definitely return in 2019 and a trip to America, or the other side of the mirror.. from which I also draw my inspiration
