"Melody of the Sunset" is an exquisite piece and will capture the attention of any room.

A sunset is always attractive in all seasons. You get a sense of inner contentment looking at it. It gives you a feeling of excitement and calmness at the same time.
A seascape at the sunset is like a symphony ! We are prepared to see it, ready to hear it ... and then slowly the Sun is going down ... We don't breath ! We try to capture in our memory, every single fraction of seconds until the last note.

The beauty of resin is in its extraordinary vivid colours and fine detail obtained when colour pigments are added. The epoxy resin used is a hard, UV resistant, clear laminating resin.
As light hits the work at different angles, an interplay of color gleams throughout the many layers of paint fused within the resin. To create this piece I used pigments, gold dusts, inks and acrylics along with high quality resin. I then used a blowtorch as my paintbrush to fuse and form the paints together onto a custom wooden panel. This unique layering technique creates a complexity of textures, multi-dimensions and depth. The paints require a dry time of at least 24-hours before coming back to the artwork for an additional layer. Because of such time-consuming layering process, it took me several weeks to complete this piece.
