Mi formación artística dio comienzo en la facultad de Bellas Artes de Leioa ( Bizkaia ). Mi interés también estaba enfocado a la filosofía y durante un largo periodo de tiempo estuve sin pintar; hasta que de nuevo descubrí con nuevos ojos la pintura de la mano del profesor Ricardo Aldama en la Escuela Araldi de Plentzia y hoy en día es parte fundamental de mi vida.
Respecto a mi filosofía, diría entre otras cosas que “el hombre, en cada caso, sólo ES aquello a lo cual tiene fuerzas para atreverse y en la medida en que las tiene” ( cito a Heidegger en “ La esencia de la verdad” ). Esta sentencia sobre la verdad, entendida como desocultamiento, como desvelamiento, tiene relación directa con el arte y con la vida, bajo mi punto de vista. Más adelante iré añadiendo otras frases que sintetizan mi forma de ver el arte.
