DRACULA IMPRESSIONS

Laubach Castle, Vogelsberg

From November 4 - November 6 2005 Vampire-Fans from all over Germany and parts of Europe will meet in Laubach, Hessen for the 4th Congress of The Dracula-Society. The topic of this year's event is "Vampires in Movies".

The Congress will take place at the Rathaussaal and at Dracula's Museum in Laubach/Hessen.


Highlights will include
- Several guestspeakers including Dr. Rolf Giesen: Curator at The Filmmuseum in Berlin, professor at the German Film School of Digital Production and Member of the Visual Effects Society, Los Angeles

- The "Nycatalus" Awards - to honour the best vampire-related work in science, art, literature, music and film

- Q&A and autograph-sessions with our guest-stars

- A Silent Auction - the proceeds will benefit Bat Conservation

- A fancy-dress Ball

- Art exhibition

- Several Exhibitions from vampire-related companies



The official language of the Congress is German, but our Guests of Honour, our Staff and the majority of our audience do speak English, so conversation and translation will not be a problem.

Nycatalus
The Nycatalus Award Show will be held for the first time this year. The awards will become a regular feature of future Congress Events.


The Programme
The final programme for the 4th Congress of the Dracula-Society 2005 will be available around the end of September 2005
