Loving hope

My paintbrush is not a mere combination of colours and water reflecting fading lights and face features on a lifeless canvas. It is rather a flow of letters narrating the stories of Arab citizens with all their suffering and displacement. It is a tale of agony growing into signs of love and clinging to life with the first bright heralds of spring, as the sun casts its rays, and challenges every hurdle and obstacle. It is a brush admitting the presence of an ongoing suffering caused by displacement, but insisting on our love for spring and the glimmers of hope it sends.
