In this painting, I sought to capture the explosive energy of creation and unity. Using acrylics and silver leaf on canvas, I played with abstract shapes and vibrant contrasts. This fiery burst juxtaposed against cool blues symbolizes a dynamic balance. Placing it in your home, it promises to be a bold statement piece that energizes the space and sparks conversation.
The historian of modern yoga Elliott Goldberg writes that Vishnudevananda's 1960 book The Complete Illustrated Book of Yoga "proclaimed in print" a "new utilitarian conception of Surya Namaskara". which his guru Sivananda had originally promoted as a health cure through sunlight. Goldberg notes that Vishnudevananda modelled the positions of the Sun Salutation for photographs in the book, and that he recognised the sequence "for what it mainly is: not treatment for a host of diseases but fitness exercise.

Ilgvars Zalans is a contemporary Latvian painter. Zalans is one of the most influential expressionist painters in northern Europe. He was influenced by the Gutai group, the Fluxus movement, and other modern art activists during the course of his career, and has since gravitated more toward the action-painting scene. With his live action painting performances, Ilgvars Zalans has done a 33-country global tour since 2007.
Zalans prefers to use fundamental, archetypal, and universal themes and motifs in his artwork as opposed to those that are influenced by society.
